Hello summer 2026. I see you, and I appreciate you.

@CBSNews Sad to see this senseless gun violence at a popular annual summer music street festival. Not the same Toronto I grew up in anymore. A beautiful day, yet lives taken, lives injured and families shattered, for what?

@Sid_Seixeiro It's not his fault. You can not leave that many men on base and expect to win.

@RachelKryshak Runner on 3rd base should have been further off the base, anticipating the hit. If he had been, he would have been safe. We win. The End... but TTC/GO would still shut down on regular operation hours.

@morgandalton99 @JomboyMedia Yamamoto kept them in the series (he's damn good). Without him, a different outcome in their playoff run.

@JomboyMedia 100% Agree. The team, the city, and the country were deserving of this. They did so many things right but left too many men on bases last night. With that said, we still deserved it 100%.

@truckdriverpleb This is why I always drive into the city during evening events. The transit system can not be trusted. Especially on a night like this. Poor travelers and families with kids just trying to get home. That's just not right. Do better City of Toronto.

@0xBB3 @TTChelps Back in '92, TTC shut down (no extention hours). Walked with the party of people from the SkyDome up to Yonge and St. Clair until we were lucky enough to finally find a cab. Got home at 5:30 am. Good times, tired feet.

@cityoftoronto We are an international city. Act like one and extend TTC and GO service at least 1 hour. You can plan for shut downs. Try planning to pay your transit employees an extra hour or two for one special night. The people of Toronto, the GTA and visitors from abroad deserve it.

@MarcNixon24 No big deal, just walk home, get a cab or even UBER nowadays. That's what we did back in '92 and '93 after the TTC closed for night.

Thank you, @BlueJays, for making an incredible and memorable experience for my family. Especially my boys. They enjoyed baseball before, but now, they can't wait to get back to a game next spring. Hats off and chins waaay up. Be proud, we all are. GO JAYS GO!

@arnettwill saw you spotlighted at tbe TML game tonight along with Biebs. Hope you enjoyed yourself, despite the loss. Enjoy the rest of your holidays while back in Toronto. BTW, thoroughly enjoyed the Smartless tour series. That's a lot of enjoyment going around.😁👍

A great experience watching my son meet band members of @goodkid this evening, and to have their CD autographed down at Sonic Boom. A bonus was a "live" performance of their most recent EP.
