I've got a @Dell r610 and put two @Seagate savvio 10k 600gb sas drives in. When I attempt to create a raid it tells me " error occured while writing non-volatile settings" I've reseated the sas raid controller. This problem is conquering me. #help

I cannot get esxi 6.0 on a dell r610 to make any partition changes to this Seagate savvio. I've corrected the sector size, I've tried to clear the gpt, followed multiple kb articles and still get "cannot change host configuration" and input output error with partedutil

Bought a sas drive off ebay. VMware won't add it in as a datastore saying there is a problem with gpt. Tried all the kb articles on it. I can't get anything to format this fucking drive.
