@salmanczai Yeah that makes sense, directories can feel like a gamble early on I’ve seen people add them later once they start getting some traction curious what would make a channel feel “worth it” for you.
@salmanczai Been seeing more founders launch on directories early alongside PH — especially for tools like this feels like people are already searching there before they even try prompts themselves Curious how you’re thinking about distribution here
Early-stage founders overcomplicate growth. Sometimes it’s just: show up in more places → get more eyes → get users.
Directory submissions aren’t exciting work but they solve one big problem: being invisible.
@sendkitHQ Yeah that makes sense, ads are quicker early on. I’ve seen some of the first signups still come from places where people are already searching for tools like this alongside ads. Usually something people add a bit later, but it tends to work earlier than expected.
You don’t need more features right now. You need your product in more places. That shift alone changes things.
@phibrowser Upvoted on PH 👍 The local-first memory angle stands out — most tools don’t go that way. Early traction there is unpredictable. Are you starting to push distribution yet?
@human_directory @ProductHunt This “LLM-readable personal page” angle is interesting — most sites aren’t built for that at all what channels are you exploring beyond PH?
@LeeraApp Letting AI actually run daily push campaigns instead of manual blasts feels like the right direction for retention curious what you’re testing beyond PH for early users?
I’ve seen decent tools get zero traffic just because they weren’t listed anywhere. Not a product issue. Just no visibility.
A lot of founders launch… get a few visits… then silence. That’s usually a distribution problem, not a product one.
One underrated growth channel: directories where people already go to discover tools. It’s boring, but it works.
Most founders think they need more features… but honestly, they just need people to find the product first.
