@SusanGodsland I read finnish is almost one to one correspondence Diane McGuinnes talked a lot about the correspondences in other languages she was brilliant
@SusanGodsland I believe there is research showing that kids with "dyslexia" who learn a language with a simpler orthography manage to learn to read, but read slower than others. This could indicate that it's not phonological issues that get in the way of learning to read, but something else.
