For me this is a huge red flag that also people don’t seem to realise with Amorim as a coach. Player profiling is poor you don’t put the best creator in the league alongside de bruyne in a middle two whose job is to dictate play/ cover ground. That is not Bruno Fernandes !

Correct his system is outdated better than amorims version but still sub elite. He uses automations like Amorim which are easy to predict any premier team nowadays will prepare for that and find you out for using them.

This hasn’t been a rebuild what have you seen from Amorim that’s convincing. If you can’t see the tactical issues I don’t know what to tell you he spent over 200 million on an area fans cried we were lacking in which has resulted in a mighty one goals scored this season.

Exactly this Bruno being played in a double two deeper is a great example of Amorim poorly profiling this team in certain areas.

It’s laughable then people will look for an excuse with the lack of midfield signings. Yes okay we are limited in that area but the fact Mainoo isn’t even getting a look in over ugarte plus we rarely build up through our central two due to how rigid the system is.
