This is Neekas, Heiltsuk Territory. All of these salmon went into the creek, the creek dried up b/c of no rain so far this fall, and just died, and this is just one reach! Global warming is killing everything. This is such a sad scene. Video credit, Sarah Mund

An Indigenous rugby star in Australia was punished after criticizing the queen on Instagram. Caitlin Moran must pay a fine of 25% her salary if she does not do social media training. Australia is the only ex-British colony that does not have any treaty with Indigenous people.

Hey Twitter! I haven’t posted much lately, but as a brief life update: 1. I’ve moved to QLD, Australia to work in the reef conservation space! 2. Contrary to public opinion, it seems not all Australian critters are spooky 3. Here’s a video of a giant wasp eating a giant spider.
