Hey @runable_hq , I gave Runable and makable, the AI site builder I'm building, the same element and the same prompt: "remove this section". Runable asked me which section I meant. Mine removed it in one go. I think I know why, and I'd like to fix it at Runable 🧵

@runable_hq @itsumeshk @saksham_sarda 4. The model starts at the right line instead of searching, and two identical sections are two different places in the code. Click-to-source isn't new (LocatorJS does it). The work is the loop around it: find, edit, syntax check, preview check, commit.
@runable_hq @itsumeshk @saksham_sarda 3. What I do instead: the preview tags every element with where it's written, data-src="file:line:col" (Babel, on the preview's copy only). A click sends that place. The server checks it against the file and gives the model the code there, plus the screenshot.
@runable_hq @itsumeshk @saksham_sarda 2. From a screenshot alone, the model has to guess where the element is in the code: search the files, read them, hope. It breaks worst when two sections look alike. The picture can't say which one you clicked, so the edit lands in the wrong one. I've hit that on Runable too.

Thanks! The trick is makable doesn't host the sites itself. Each site is a static build, and it's published to your own GitHub Pages, Vercel, Cloudflare or Netlify account, whose free plans handle static sites really well. So hosting stays free for users and doesn't grow into a cost for me. A 3D city in the browser sounds awesome. What are you building it with?
