Really interesting first meeting today of the new @V20Group Central Bank Governors working group. Governors are so critical, especially during a climate disaster, to ensure economies do not crash. The Secretariat will move forward with some solutions-orientated concept notes.

Today, my Administration is investing $7 billion in a new program called Solar for All that will enable over 900,000 low-income households to have solar on their rooftops for the first time. Solar for All will give folks more breathing room – and cleaner breathing room at that.

Really interesting first meeting today of the new @V20Group Central Bank Governors working group. Governors are so critical, especially during a climate disaster, to ensure economies do not crash. The Secretariat will move forward with some solutions-orientated concept notes.
Very good meeting with HE @ElinSuleymanov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the UK, here in London. Looking forward to #COP29 in Baku. We need to get finances - private and public - flowing into @TheCVF countries’ Climate Prosperity Plans and the COP can help unlock these funds.
I was honoured to be granted an audience yesterday with His Majesty King Charles III. I believe His Majesty and @TheCVF share many concerns, including the need to unlock private capital for environmental and clean energy projects in developing countries.
