The University of Texas, which mass arrested protesters, has a video promoting free speech saying that anybody from the public can come to campus and engage in protest. They delisted the video from YouTube and turned off the comments but I'm posting the whole thing here.
Telling how steadfast the commitment to rules are when extreme right-wing types show up at campuses, and how quickly those commitments change when it's anyone else. I can only hope more eyes are opening to the bullshit charade that the "free speech warrior" stuff always was
NEW: UT Austin released "protest rules" that say "individuals may not come to campus without authorization," which is in direct contradiction to a video they published 6 months ago that says members of the public can "come to campus at any time and engage in demonstrations."
