I skimmed the last 130 pages of this because it was AWFUL. There was no plot whatsoever, and there wasn’t a climax. It was over 400 pages of just…nothing.

I’m not someone who doesn’t finish books. I’ll finish a book I hate because I just HAVE to know. This one is a book I’m currently making myself read. I was so excited by the idea of it, but good lord is it slow, boring, and predictable.

When therapy is unavailable, I recommend 80s pop songs. Driving home I've been told to Hold On by Wilson Phillips, reminded that I'm Still Standing by Elton, and Journey advised that I Don't Stop Believing. (Admittedly Van Halen also told me to Jump but I'm ignoring them 🤣)
