It’s funny that all of a sudden Democrats care about the people of Texas, when I remember as mine and many others homes flooded from Harvey, and they cheered it. Sounds like they are just using this opportunity to politicize a natural disaster instead of showing genuine empathy.

Although there were some conservative wins in the budget reconciliation bill (OBBBA), I voted No on final passage because it will significantly increase U.S. budget deficits in the near term, negatively impacting all Americans through sustained inflation and high interest rates.
When it comes to the Big-Not-So-Beautiful Bill, I’m asking one simple question: Will the deficit be higher or lower next year? The answer is clear: higher. That’s why I’m voting no, and I urge my colleagues to ask themselves the same question before they vote.
