@amazingatheist Sure, that's what they were trying to say. You sound dumb as hell. Water has to be purified and transported. Both those things take labor and resources. How the hell could it be free or a right? Only commies and slavers think they have a right to the labor of others.

@gawixol @sairaspooks You don't know LGTB language. Queerness is descriptive, not a slur when used correctly. Nothing scary about homos. Relax.

@MeLikesCh33se Saudi's made some ground towards making up for the towers when they toppled Bioware.

@tiger_auau @LosiMarim @mumbler4 Playing Cyber Punk Shop: It's probably stolen. This month I have enjoyed Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Stellaris, Brotato, and Surviving Mars: Relaunched. I have my eyes on Wardogs, and am looking forward to The Expanse: Osiris Reborn

@nickjcal They 'woke' devs, critics, staff really did antagonize gamers to the point we see anyone that removes them as an ally. Saudis covered some ground toward making up for the towers when they toppled Bioware.

The people that find themselves against 'woke' are not referring to race, or even queerness. The 'woke' they are against is pronoun police, and identity fetishists. Its treating the audience like ignorant children, and preaching about pronouns with pushups, and the MC demanding parents call them 'They' now. Veilguard is woke like previous Dragon Age, or ME1&2 never were.

Those were clipped and became anti ads for the game. Some that were considering the game saw them and were pushed into the 'thats not for me' category. The people that usually buy RPG games like Veilguard were turned off. It under performed, and now the Studio that tailored the game for the Modern Audience is closing.

@spectraIarrow Anthem set the table, Veilguard cooked the meal. If Veilguard performed well, the Executives would be expanding Biowares team, not Closing its doors. What a feast.

@mumbler4 @LosiMarim @tiger_auau Congratz, you are part of that small 'Modern Audience' they were chasing when they made this game. Enjoy the game.

@a_inesm @catvalente @CheevoWaiting "ME1 had aliens, so it was woke" I never had to sit through a scene of Shepard preaching pronouns and pushups, or dinner with the council, demanding they call our MC 'They' from now on. I must have miss those parts of ME1

@YaBoyChipsAhoy4 A major milestone/victory in our culture war. The death of an opponent is satisfying, and hilarious. They tried to replace 'gamers' with the 'Modern Audence' and found the Modern audence is not big enough to support 100 million dollar games. Now they are repaced. Ironic.

@vicious696 Formerly Beloved. Can't call it beloved when they start making games that people don't buy. They put an agenda head of profit, and alienated the majority of the game buying public. If the 'Modern Audience' was substantial, their games, tailored for it, would have sold better.

@potion_brew You say its not the fault of woke titles, then immediately say its Executives prioritizing money. Veilguard underperformed, so it IS its fault. If it appealed to the customer base, and sold well, those Executives would be expanding the team, not closing the doors of Bioware

@CJStudio260 @tiger_auau That's EXACTLY what Bioware did when they published those flops. You're likely to young to understand this yet, but once you are in the workforce you may see the silencing effect a 'woke' environment has on criticism, and disagreement.

@RenfailSoL @bioware @EA Right back at you, piece of shit, garbage animal. Continue to shrink into irrelevance as the gaming industry returns to serving customers. Woke part of industry is dieing, only the pet projects of woke billionaires like Mix Tape will remain.

You are not exactly wrong. The woke agenda is co-morbid with a toxically positive environment where no one can criticize any part of a game, because 'the cause' is so important, nothing else matters. So even if a team member sees something that needs improvement, they keep their mouth shut. Makes products mediocre at best. Its simpler to point at the wokeness than explain that, as the agenda is the reason for the failure.

@CJStudio260 @tiger_auau Which or how many of the last 3 Bioware games do you own, and finished? (I am guessing zero, because not many people bought those games, and of those that bought, most could not enjoy them enough to finish them)
