@pinaldave watching your pluralsight course on data and I think your example of data quality makes no sense. Who would have 150 year olds in their dataset? I can’t imagine this would be illustration of a real world example. (I am seriously laughing at this example’s timeliness)

@jhspedals If we can't afford a Bad Monkey would Josh recommend we pick up a Klon as an affordable substitute?

@broderick It irritates me that the image AI companies offer artists a way to opt out of being included when that should be covered by copyright. Only materials under creative commons, etc have proactively opted in.

@emptywheel @mtaibbi @ggreenwald @ElonsJet I wonder if Elons Jet is a journalist? Elon’s a public figure, so it’d be cool then. Right?

@CamTenWrites @riverotter1968 @TLC I’m still laughing at the idea they couldn’t do a “gay bachelor” because the contestants wouldn’t stop hooking up with each other and compete for the bachelor. It’s so obvious but once you hear it.

@gtconway3d @duty2warn I think it’s important we focus on this, but if we look at the broader context I think it’s obvious. They made a New Years resolution to persecute conservatives even more.

@RadioFreeTom You’ve got to appreciate that instead of doing minimal due diligence and asking someone with a background in the topic, that they carried on reporting it as an explosive expose. They don’t even know how their own jobs work. I guess that’s why they’re in the opinion and not news.

@RonFilipkowski @Popehat I mean, it’s more Vancouver than Hollywood in this case, isn’t it?

@chrisgeidner @Popehat Maybe remind it that Twitter has recently changed hands to a mercurial owner who is easily swayed by right-wing figures?

@gorskon @Popehat I hope he doesn’t come out with the “it was an art project/for the publicity” because… fuck that, and rule of goats, and, the world didn’t need it.

@Popehat meh, curate your social media to your own mental health needs. It’s kind of funny given how many people are open about dealing with their own struggles, that some folks still are buttholes about the issue.

@akaBrasco @Popehat @jbarro Don one tweet ago: “You just want to use the N word and not have any repercussions but you don’t have the balls to say it.” Don now: “Why don’t stop putting words in people’s mouths for one second.” Don, you’re very good at this.

@RonFilipkowski @Popehat “This person I’ve relentlessly attacked has a personal bias against me and must be removed!” is quite the legal manoeuvre. It never works for him, but he never stops trying it.
