Dear @OPay_NG @MSportLtd @MSportOfficial , My wife’s phone, a Redmi 15C, was stolen this midnight. Within 30 minutes of the theft, several unauthorized transactions were carried out on her OPay account. All her OPay transactions are secured with thumbprint authentication. Despite this, the thieves were able to access and transfer funds, including a transaction to an MSport betting account. She has never placed a bet or funded any betting account. I have already reported the transactions as theft, activated the safety PIN, and used the emergency lock. The account is currently locked for 24 hours. The affected account number is: 8064668099 I am deeply concerned about the security of OPay. I had heard concerns about funds not being safe on all these fintech apps, but I didn’t believe it until this happened to us. I respectfully request that OPay, in collaboration with MSport, urgently investigate and reverse these unauthorized transactions.
