@Cristiano Ronaldo scored 3 goals in the World Cup finals at the age of 41. Why are people not talking more about this? #WorldCup

Be honest. If Portugal had reached the final & lost in the way Argentina did, and Ronaldo had strolled around like Messi did, putting in no effort, especially with 10 men, he would have been savaged. Argentina were effectively down to 9 men & had to carry Messi. #WorldCup #SpaArg

It's a great day to bring back this AMAZING Paul Washer quote on the sanctifying nature of marriage: "How would you ever learn unconditional love if you were married to someone who met all the conditions? How would you ever learn mercy, patience, long-suffering, heart-felt compassion if you were married to someone who never failed you? Who is never difficult with you? Who never sinned against you? Who is never slow to acknowledge their sin or ask for forgiveness? How would you ever learn grace, to pour out your favor on someone who did not deserve it, if you were married to someone who was always deserving of all good things? The main purpose of marriage is that through your marriage, you both become conformed to the image of Jesus Christ."

@pythaginboots Alternative view - he was given an opportunity in a big game and unfortunately for him he failed to take it. The team is more important than 1 player, so he had to be subbed before he conceded more cheap goals.

@adgespangled @lufcgilly @c69_gary @lufcjt_ It's a foul, a penalty, and a red card. It's blatant cheating by the defender. This is why we need a challenge system with VAR.

@tntsports She should be penalised for the ridiculous two grunts before the hindrance call! Just stop grunting. It's unnecessary and puts people off from watching.

@arojinle1 Terrible decision by the ref. Send the 70 off - one yellow for pulling, one yellow for the aggressive reaction. The player in red did nothing wrong. He was being held and shook the player off.

@RangersFC @EuropaLeague £49 is a joke. Charge a realistic price and you'll get more fans there.

@pieandbov His arm was close to his side and the ball was hit at him from very close range. I don't think it's as clear-cut as everyone is making out.

@danbayens Exactly. What he said was ALMOST the gospel, but sadly & crucially he missed out the most important part. You must believe, repent and call on God to be saved. Otherwise you are going to hell.

@donnac1188 @SebGorka @WhiteHouse He missed out belief, repentance and calling on God to be saved - this is crucial to the gospel!

@SebGorka @WhiteHouse This is almost the gospel, but he missed out three crucial points: 1) You must believe in Jesus to be saved. 2) You must repent of your sin to be saved. 3) You must call on Christ to save you. There's a narrow gate & you have to decide for Christ to step through it to be saved.

@TheJSug @HACKETTREF So yeah this is the point. People think having your arm at your side negates deliberately moving your body/arm into the ball. It doesn't! He deliberately handled the ball, so it's a penalty. Out of interest, why was he not sent off?

@HACKETTREF Even if your arm is at your side, if you move your body towards the ball so that the ball hits your arm, that's a deliberate handball! I'm all for allowing the ball to hit the arm when it's in a natural position, but when you move your body towards the ball, that's deliberate.

@BBCSport That's embarrassing that the BBC pundits didn't even know this law. You're supposed to be the experts, analysing the game, and you don't know a law that was introduced 6 years ago? It was obvious straightaway why the goal should not stand.
