When pandemic started, I began making videos for kids—teaching them to draw w/ bits of Chinese culture. It felt really important to put my face and out there—I so wished for kids to realize that people who look like me are not the enemy. But I don’t know if it is working.💔

First met Patrick Mooney of @LAHomeless at a homeless connect day. It’s always hard to say what the outcome of a referral will be but in this case he stayed the course, followed up, and made it happen. As a result, our neighbor is now housed! From a tent to an apartment.
