@0xdavecryps The reality is tax should be charged on unrealized gains in more situations. On stock, for example, the wealthy get to take out low interest loans with the appreciated stock as leverage (to keep rate low bc more secure) which allows the USE of that appreciation wo paying taxes.

@Jolly_Olive How does Benge have only 65 RBI? I know it’s a dependent stat, but what are their % of RBI from opportunities to drive them in (Opportunity Conversion Rate or eRBI)?
@runwildkian RBIs are certainly a dependent stat but to say you don’t care about them is uneducated. % of runs driven in from opportunities is a better stat but the way you win games is to score more R than your opponent.
@cheesetrader1 Meester is a RS FR so not sure she counts (and certainly won’t in the future). She’s been feast or famine but her highs have been very high. Will be interesting to see how she develops in ACC play where she should get some rhythm.
@johnegolf @CoachKBooth Looks like you are right. Thanks for the correction. NCAA only addresses entire foot or feet and leaves all other body parts to the discretion of the R2 evaluating interference. NFHS rules are different. I think the NCAA rule is less effective at curbing habits.
@johnegolf @CoachKBooth Not correct (or logical). Entire hand or foot must be across the line (ie space between line and foot or hand), OR ANY body part crosses line (eg knee, forearm, shin, head, etc) touches onto opponent’s side of the net, rally stops and other team is awarded the point.
@user013524 @manaiaOGODchie It creates habits that make contact less likely. Keep losing points bc entire foot or hand is across the center line, lots of coaches will have you join them on the bench.
@johnegolf @CoachKBooth Sure it does. It creates habits (don’t put your foot or hand fully across center line) so interactions become less frequent. A point is little solace when a player lands on a foot and loses a season to an ankle or knee injury.
@mjdemarinis @CoachKBooth If they’re calling that, they’re wrong. Whole foot or whole hand must be over the line. Any other body part will also end the rally. It’s a safety rule to get players in the habit. It’s the same rule as HS for years.
