Three years ago, a group of courageous Palestinians exercised their right to armed resistance and defended themselves against foreign occupation, as recognized under international law and UN General Assembly resolutions. Israel, a foreign settler project built mostly by genocidal Europeans/Americans on someone else’s land, has ZERO right to attack Palestinians. It has ZERO right to “self-defense,” or to whatever else they use to justify the massacres they carry out daily against Gazans. Palestinians are not obliged to accept permanent occupation. Their rights existed before October 7 and remain intact after it. Nothing gives Israel the right to deny an entire people their freedom indefinitely. Occupation does not become legitimate because it lasts for decades. Apartheid does not become acceptable because its architects call it security. I commend Hamas. I condemn Israel.
