@farzyness Well, although interest payments seem to explode on such a timescale, you also have to correct for inflation over a 50 year period. Take 1975-now, money depreciated 5x. Doing the same forst interest --> 50b would be equiv. to 250b. So that means interest payments 4x'ed inflation

The car on the left has a gas engine and gets 20 MPG. It has 21 miles of electric range. It gets a $7,500 EV Tax Credit. The car on the right is ELECTRIC ONLY and gets 113 MPEe. It has 330 miles of range. IT DOES NOT GET A $7,500 EV TAX CREDIT.

@farzyness @Sen_JoeManchin @elonmusk Exactly, if i'd be elon I would install a removable lead metal bar somewhere on the model Y 5 seater, (where its easily removable by the customer) so that it meets the IRS weight requirement.
