Theres a #beach on an artificial sea in California where the sand is made completely of dead fish bones. I don't think anyone will notice if I add some other ones to it. #vss365 #Saltonsea

Her womb is a desert. She walks the #beach at night and cries. Sand on sand, salt on salt. Finds a baby in the tide. At home he grows a dorsal fin, 20 rows of jagged teeth. His eyes go white when he’s upset. Even when he takes her hand, she never thinks to throw him back.#vss365

Walking along the shore where ocean meets the land, I find a mermaid beached upon the sand. She refuses to be coaxed back into the water. The ocean's waves recede. They do not want her. I listen to her ragged breaths before she dies. Salt water drips from both my eyes. #vss365

Sinking deeper into a hypnotic state, Bob‘s hellish hunger stirred. He followed it all the way down to its seat of origin, at the core of his being. It all seemed so clear from here, though the event from which it sprung was still obscure. Therapy helped him focus the hunger.#vss
