Team Astra 2021 has been chosen to move on to Phase 2! #Micrognext
50 years ago, the Manned Orbiting Laboratory (a U.S. Air Force & National Reconnaissance Office project) faced budget constraints and was cancelled. 7 MOL astronauts transferred to NASA, all of whom flew early Space Shuttle missions. nasa.gov/feature/50-yea…

The wait is over! The results from our preliminary design proposal came today. We were approved to advance to Phase II, with testing in June! Thank you NASA for the excellent feedback on our PDR, and we are entering the prototyping segment of the overall process. #Micrognext
