Does anyone know what these legal reasons could be? Taylor Wimpey are paying to remediate & the work, due to start last May, still hasn't begun. @LongHarbourLtd are getting a free upgrade to their building, so why are they and management agent @ScanlansLLP delaying?

Two years ago @TaylorWimpey announced that they would pay to fix building safety defects @Thedecksruncorn. Since then we have heard nothing and there are currently no plans to start. @michaelgove @lisanandy

Our MA had secured building safety funds for the 3 buildings at our development that are >18m with original developer Taylor Wimpey agreeing to cover the costs for the 3 <18m buildings. Why have @luhc now withdrawn their funding?

It has also had impacts on hundreds of l'holders across the country. Many have put hours of their own time into challenging these forms and put their lives on hold because of it. I remember the words of Cecilia, one @MojoResidents l'holder, who had bought her flat in Nov 2019

.@SimonClarkeMP I live in a 6 building development in Runcorn. 3 buildings are <18m which Taylor Wimpey last year promised to pay to fix & 3 are >18m & are still waiting for govt funding. Insurance has risen 750% since 2019 & many of us are struggling to pay.

Why is there a delay in BSF allocation? Work on our development was due to have started by now. It hasn't because our MA is still waiting for funding. @michaelgove @team_greenhalgh @luhc

🚩🚩🚩WARNING! The #BuildingSafetyManager will cost many leaseholders more than cladding remediation. Salary of £60,000 is £1,463 per flat in my building. That's £122 per month, more than double Jenricks proposed £50 loan. Unlike cladding costs the BSM cost will be never ending.

Our MA has said they have 2 brokers working on our 2022 renewal & both have indicated that the premium will not increase any further. How do they know this already if they're still working on it? Sounds like some shady backroom deal has already been done🤑🤮

The content and high-handed tone of this letter from @SimonClarkeMP really is a disgrace. Successive govts knew about dangerous cladding and did nothing. They put our lives in danger & @hmtreasury now not only refuses to help but makes a profit off us from WW & remediation VAT🤬
