After a report of a kidnapping in Tipton, the offending vehicle is spotted by PD Nero's handler on a car park. Four males try to exit the vehicle as approached, but are challenged by Nero and are detained. Numerous weapons also found and recovered so four in custody!🚔 🐕‍🦺

PD Sasha was out on her third shift with a new handler last night, when a male decamped from a vehicle in the Stetchford area. PD Sasha's nose led her into a garden where she found the male under a compost heap, which she thought was a rubbish hiding spot. Arrested!

A driver in Stetchford today decided to try to get away from PD Kane's handler when asked to stop. After a short pursuit, he decided that he would fare better ditching the car and trying to outrun PD Kane. Spoiler: He was wrong. One in custody for dangerous driving and theft

We are pleased (for us) that PD Scout's handler decided they couldn't break up the team and remains with WMP, deciding not to transfer forces after all. They have picked up where they left off, detaining two offenders whilst supporting firearms officers at an incident in Brum

We wish PD Scouts handler all the best: he's transferring forces, and on their last shift together today they caught a male who was wantedx3 for DV offences, who ran from officers. PD Scout is looking forward to his rehandling course with a new handler and will be back very soon!

Not just the bad guys... PD Kane called yesterday to the report of a vulnerable missing person in a wooded area. He tracks from the last point they were seen and locates them hiding in the woods, and is able to guide officers and ambulance in to provide them with help. 🐕‍🦺

#ARREST PD Snow, one of our Firearms Support Dogs, was involved in the arrest of an 18 year old male for firearms offences yesterday in the Oldbury area. A firearm, cash and class A drugs were recovered. The male is in custody for questioning. orlo.uk/7QVRT

#ARREST PD Ray was called to a burglary at a factory in West Brom the other night. On arrival, he quickly found one offender hiding behind a skip... then he found their bag and angle grinder... then he found the 2nd offender behind a steel container for the complete sweep. 🐕‍🦺

#ARREST PD Scout and handler were called to the report of a stabbing in Birmingham tonight. Being first to arrive they were pointed towards the location of the offender, entered the property and promptly found and detained them. Weapons recovered from scene and one in custody.

#ARREST Yesterday, there were multiple reports of a male on a bus in Birmingham, armed with a large kitchen knife who was attempting to rob people. PD Riot responded to the calls, and on the top floor of the bus the offender was detained and arrested, and the knife recovered.

Yesterday in Sheldon, AD31 & PD Usk were searching for a wanted man. Someone matching the description in some bushes went to run before seeing PD Usk & gave up. He wasn’t the man they were after but turned out to be wanted for a recent robbery instead! Great job!! 👏🏻 👏🏻

#ARREST PD Kane was called to the report of a burglary in Coventry last night. He tracked from a stolen moped, and officers ahead had a male run from them. Kane continued to track, and found and detained the male who had run off and thought hiding in a bush would work.🐕‍🦺

#ARREST PD Snow and handler have just finished two night shifts. On each shift, they attended reports of a burglary, and found the offender who decided he was faster than the dog and could get away. They both found out the hard way it was PD Snow, not PD Slow!
