Today we have begun the process of controlling regions. 📢 Over the next few hours we will be reducing the maximum ping on a server to be 175 after we have decided that protecting the largest amount of players from an influx of regions that are more prone to cheating. It’s disappointing for us to have to put these divisions in place with social experience being such a core focus of WARDOGS, but we must prioritise the largest group of players over the minority. Region locking is in progress on the backend, but is more than a switch to make a meaningful impact to the desired effect. We’re sorry we let it get to this point that we are forced to make this decision, but we felt that giving certain regions the opportunity to prevail was the right move. Unfortunately, it has not panned out as we’d hoped and we’ll be getting stricter on cross pollination of regions. @BULKHEAD

@MadEvilLemonArt @ducc_vr @WARDOGS Have you not seen how many china cheaters are on other servers. I’d rather limit the handful of ppl with 250 plus ping than let a shit ton of cheaters in the servers to please everyone

@Brammflakes @CtrlAltDelrith Ping limit / region lock is my main issue. So many games for people with 170-200+ ping dropping 50-60 kills a game

@ducc_vr @WARDOGS It’s a 250 ping limit… if you can’t connect you shouldn’t be on that server to being with.

@HeindrichN73037 @DanMan01_ @WARDOGS Unemployed hate this update lmfao… the bigger the gap / more the grind the more we love it. This update is meant for the crybaby who plays 2 hours a week and wants all end game loot for no effort

Did they not add the ping limit, or is it just high enough that it was completely pointless? #Wardogs 😆

Anyone who I hear complaining about tanks, rocket helis and BMRs appearing “too soon” in the first 24 hours of #Wardogs Season 2 better not have said a peep about the grind being “too long” last season. This is exactly what I was warning people about who complained about the length of progression. The devs are still testing so I’m not bothered either way, things are going to wipe again, but this is the consequences of feedback that a lot of people made very vocal. And now… I don’t think they’re enjoying the consequences of it.
