The most pertinent finding of @lengreview was the discrepancy between what PAs and Drs felt PAs were competent to do: Drs are trained to be cautious, careful, and reign in over-confidence. PAs do not demonstrate the same levels of caution, and one needs to ask why that is.

We may all need to vote to have industrial action of refusing to train, oversee or support these people unless regulators start doing their jobs. Tight centralised scope of practice & in case of PA -> physician assistants with ££ support for retraining via competitive entry

@Ceri_turns We are at the wall every week adding hearts, restoring fading ones and writing dedications. While we don’t know exactly how many hearts there are on the wall, we continue to paint new ones so that the catastrophic UK death toll is represented by a heart for each person.
