How common is it for judges to be rude to defendants or advocates? Sadly, but perhaps not surprisingly, there's no research. So was judge who threatened to imprison a child if she cried just a bad apple, or a particularly bad example of a systemic problem? linkedin.com/pulse/bad-appl…

If I see a ‘fat’ person in the gym I know only 2 things about them: They are brave - bc frankly who needs the judgement endemic in so many fitness ‘fans’ & they are smart- bc they recognise exercise as part of their route to being more healthy. Support & encourage, don’t judge.

Herein, an exchange which demonstrates why justice should not be subordinated to administration. Those responsible for the latter have no impetus to prioritise the former.
Which again misses the point. "All court hearings started on time." Maybe they did, but lawyers for Pros and defence had less time to prepare cases. Clearly that is not a consideration for statistics driven civil servants
