@WhiteHouse Zero PPP loans should have been forgiven. ELECTED OFFICIAL MATH is the mistaken belief that people and businesses who take out loans should be forgiven their debts on the backs of the taxpayer. Bunch of thieves in government.
@WhiteHouse You mean via the PPP program that President @JoeBiden touted as a "bipartisan accomplishment" providing "forgivable loans" to 3,600,000 small businesses during a pandemic? Were student loans intended from the get-go to be "forgivable"? whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/…
Some Republican lawmakers oppose student debt relief because they think it is unfair to taxpayers and those who paid off their loans. However, they have benefited from PPP loans, which are government-backed loans that can be forgiven if used for payroll and other expenses. This is hypocritical because they are accepting government aid for themselves but denying it to others123
@WhiteHouse Again, not knowing the difference explains a lot of our problems.
@WhiteHouse Still doesn't invalidate what he said! The American tax payer is paying for all of it!
@WhiteHouse Huge huge huge difference 🤦♀️. You’re bad at economics
@WhiteHouse It would seem that Rep. Mike Kelly has a better understanding of basic economics than the White House does.
@WhiteHouse The only ones who opposed PPP were in the GOP. They were then lambasted for it
@WhiteHouse Students are one of the most worthy groups of support in any society. They’ve been abandoned for far too long now. Thanks to the @TheDemocrats at least someone (@POTUS) is doing something about it, while haters are just gonna hate. #studentloans
@WhiteHouse How does someone "relieve debt"? Did tHe BANKS forgive those loans or are they going to get paid by tax dollars?
