@DamValrick It goes well for 1-2 weeks, then the overload of work comes in. Deadlines & long meetings. Gym feels like a second job. Just for this type of situations, i have planned workouts at home to not miss my streak!

I opened the fridge and closed it again. Too tired. Nothing looked easy. Ordered the closest thing and sat on the couch. Did that four nights in a row. The weight didn’t come from one big meal. It came from those nights.

The easiest option was always the delivery app. Exhausted. No decision left. One tap. It added up to hundreds a month and the clothes got tighter. I didn’t notice until the bill and the weight went up!

I told myself I’d start Monday. Again. By Wednesday the gym bag was still in the car and I’d ordered twice. Tracking calories felt like homework after a full day of work. Convenience won. Every single time.

My button almost snapped in the meeting. I felt it go tight when I sat down. Same pants from January. I left it open under the table and hoped no one noticed when I stood up. Six months at the desk & Takeout most nights... You notice it in the clothes before you check the scale.

I almost blacked out on the stairs. Two flights. Same ones I’ve taken every day. Halfway up I had to stop. Light-headed & kept on panting, I stood there thinking I might actually go down. Have you felt the stairs get harder too?

I checked the delivery app. $312 THIS MONTH. I didn’t even remember ordering that much. Too tired to cook so it just happened. The shirt went from an M to an XL in the same six months. Have you looked at yours?

It’s easy to keep going for the first few weeks. then the long meetings and project deadlines pile up. the gym gets postponed, meals slip, consistency breaks, and we fall back into old habits. so I made a plan that helps me manage my meals and work out in the comfort of my own home!

@Kimkiyingi A new task may blur your focus. But sitting at the same desk for so long has blurred your awareness of the real issue: your weight gain. You’ve focused so much on new tasks that you’ve forgotten the main one: yourself.

@SeizetheMind A better chair can make desk work more comfortable, but it can’t replace movement. If you work at a desk, investing in your health matters too. Regular movement breaks, manageable workouts and meals that fit your schedule deserve as much attention as your office setup.

Agreed on this, studies shows spending long stretches of the day sitting is linked to a higher risk of obesity! what if weight loss, could be done in the comfort of your home! Will you take action?

Desk jobs are slowly draining your health. Stand, stretch, or walk every hour. A sedentary body is a stagnant body circulation, lymph, and metabolism all suffer. Movement is non-negotiable for longevity!

@CoachDanGo Agreed, but when work and daily responsibilities fill the day, exercise can be hard to fit in. By the time people get home, they’re often too drained to cook, so fast food becomes the easiest option. Over time, that routine can make weight management harder.

@snoring20s Posture is not the only issue that desk jobs people face. But health as well, studies show sitting for more than 6 hours a day raises the risk of obesity. So is posture the only thing that needs fixing?
