@willmenaker Am I able to communicate or even just do basic strategy with them? If so I’m taking 5 gorillas every time and showing them the magic of projectile weaponry.

@TonklinDiary There was a massive black market for corpses and human remain not that long ago historically and these rules were made to stop that. If respecting the dead is wrong then idk what’s right, enjoy your mummy’s curse.

@TonklinDiary Education in like an upper level academic/medical sense sure, how long does someone have to be dead before we can dig them up and put them on display without their permission though? Once that’s codified you open up a can of worms, better to keep it blanketly illegal.

@TonklinDiary If I died tomorrow I’m pretty sure excavating my skeleton and putting it on display without my permission would be illegal, idk why mummies get a pass

@RhockoHarrison Why don’t people understand that “I’m disgusted by Rorschach and anyone who identifies with him is a smelly bean boy” or whatever he said is code for “stop asking me about this shit I hate DC I hate you,” not instructions on how to read it?

@NewPerspectives @cybermaenad And yeah you can say it still exists because of free prison labor and the old working for a wage is just that same process obfuscated and you’d be right. But people do have rights and options for how they sell their labor now, even if they are limited and compelled.

@NewPerspectives @cybermaenad despite violating every argument liberals made as to why they deserve rights independent of a monarch. Europeans saw the contradiction and phased it out for various reasons, but the slave owning class became so ingrained in the US we had to have a huge war to make them stop.

@chiweethedog @23aphelion He has it in him to go into rooms full of people that I can’t say what I would do to and annoy them as much as they annoy the rest of us. Painful to watch but he’s the only person who can do it, whatever “it” is.

@cybermaenad @BolshieBhoy Had a good run and kept the US from nuking whoever they wanted during the period they were most likely to do so, I’d call that a long term win for humanity. The first couple liberal revolutions didn’t exactly work out either.

@2aQueer @MattLutzPhi @sugarbets_ Exactly, poker is an information game you play against other people way more than the deck itself. For this analogy he should really be using blackjack.

@Kude42 @MattLutzPhi Probability is a model of what could be. Once you know what the card is, probability doesn’t matter anymore. He’s doing a language game with cards, you can’t do the same trick with dice or a coin flip.
