Chugging along with my match 3/golf hybrid game. Most of the tricky mechanics are in I think. The matching board, action bit with separate camera, curving ball. Will start on some graphics next I think which will be motivating! #GameMakerStudio #GameDev #SportsGames #Golf

Now the matching mechanics are pretty solid, moving on to the 'action' section at the bottom of the screen. The way it works at the moment, could mean around 1000 objects just to make the course, which isnt ideal, so thinking cap is on for that one! #GameDev #GameMakerStudio2

Finished the main mechanics of my gem matching puzzle section of a new game. Took a while to get the reversing of moves in, but happy to have cracked it! #GameDev #GameMakerStudio #NewProject

Quite a bit happier with the progress of my #MyFirstGameJam game "RGB". Still needs some graphic tweaks and the GFX obviously not good anyways, but for my first game, its quite fun to play & I've learned some bits for future projects! vimeo.com/441290291

Obviously massively late to the party, but may help someone! Just received a copy of #Wireframe magazine. Really interesting read for #Gamedev and the industry generally, lots of great stuff about de-makes, AI, even some code to type out like the old days! Recommended :)

Any think this is a worthwhile buy for under £25 or are there just as good free assets about? I don’t mind paying the money, just not sure from experience where people go for assets humblebundle.com/software/art-a…

Feeling good about my journey in #GameMakerStudio2 lots of things making sense and starting to use scripts more and getting better at manipulating objects from other objects. Need to set myself some tangible goals to hit really. #GameDev
