Zcash Sovereign @ZECSovereign

The stronger version of this argument is that Bitcoin is a bad tool for criminals precisely because every transaction stays public forever, which is how so many cases get solved years later. But that same permanent record applies to everyone else. Link one address to your name and your salary, rent, and savings are visible to anyone who looks. The real question isn't crime, it's whether ordinary people get the financial privacy banks already give them by default.

Per app identities are a real improvement, since one wallet stops being the single key that ties your whole onchain life together. The part worth watching is funding. If every shadow account gets topped up from the same main wallet, or at predictable times, chain analysis can still cluster them. Separate names only hold up when the money moving between them is hidden too. That's why encrypted amounts and addresses, like in Zcash's shielded pool, end up mattering more than the label on the account.

@zodl_app Day to day wallets optimize for spend speed. A vault should optimize for not touching the seed for months. If Zodl Vault leans into viewing keys for monitoring plus a cold path for spends, that is the right split for people who want privacy without living in a hot wallet.

This closes a real gap. Plenty of people wanted shielded ZEC without leaving the seed on a phone. With Bluetooth Ledger support, the keys stay on the device while Zodl runs the wallet UX, so hardware custody and a usable shielded flow finally sit in one path. Does 3.17.0 cover Orchard notes end to end on that Ledger path, or do some operations still need a software key?

@RogueInfra @GustavoValverde Workshops like this are where ecosystems actually compound. AI tooling for Zcash is not about hype, it is about making shielded workflows easier for builders who would otherwise stay on transparent stacks. Looking forward to what they share on Oct 28.

What is keeping $ZEC green tonight? CMC AI calls it a Bitcoin beta bounce above $83,000, with no coin specific headline. RSI near 42 and volume up about 11% help. Desk watches $1,185 support and $1,292 overhead into CPI. #Zcash Not financial advice.

Almost seven on the desk and the tape is still green but quiet. Screen holds near $1,224, up about 1.5% on 24 hours and a couple dollars above the near six print. Volume near $1.11B, up about 10%, with the day range $1,131 to $1,230. $ZEC #Zcash Not financial advice.

Why is the bid back? CMC AI still frames overnight selling as altcoin risk off ahead of CPI, with $1.66M of Grayscale ZCSH outflows on Oct 12 and leftover pressure from about $24M of liquidations. Desk marks $1,180 as support while price reclaimed toward $1,222. $ZEC #Zcash Not financial advice.

@RogueInfra @zypherpunks @ZcashLabs A rewarded pipeline under ZcashLabs is exactly the kind of onramp the privacy stack needs. Builders stick around when contribution paths are clear and paid. Curious what the first bounty or project tracks look like.

$ZEC news: @zypherpunks just launched under @ZcashLabs. It is a call for builders, researchers, and creators to learn, contribute, and get rewarded for shipping on Zcash. Fresh talent pipeline for the privacy stack. #Zcash

Near six on the desk and the tape flipped green. Screen shows about $1,222, up roughly 1.5% on 24 hours and a few dollars above the five o'clock print. Volume near $1.12B, up about 13%, with the day range $1,131 to $1,230. $ZEC #Zcash Not financial advice.

Why is $ZEC still a touch red? CMC AI calls it spillover from a market wide leverage flush, about $803M liquidated, mostly longs, with ZEC taking roughly $24M. Desk watches $1,211 support and $1,230 overhead into CPI tomorrow. #Zcash Not financial advice.

Five o'clock on the mining desk and price is holding its ground. $ZEC trades near $1,218, down about 1% on 24 hours and a dollar under the 4:17 print. Volume sits around $1.14B, up 16%, and the day range runs $1,131 to $1,235. #Zcash Not financial advice.

@RogueInfra @vizorwallet This closes a gap a lot of people miss. Shielded notes hide on chain, but light clients still ask servers about transparent addresses and that query itself can leak. PIR means the server never learns which address you asked about. Big step for wallet privacy beyond the chain.

$ZEC news: @vizorwallet just turned on PIR in beta. Private information retrieval lets the wallet look up transparent address data without the server learning which addresses it asked about. Shielded funds already hide on chain, now the queries can too. #Zcash

What still weighs on $ZEC? CMC AI says leverage is getting cleared, about $24M of ZEC liquidations with open interest down 11%, plus a $1.66M outflow from the Grayscale Zcash ETF on Oct 12. Desk watches $1,185 as support and $1,250 as the reclaim. #Zcash Not financial advice.

Late afternoon on the desk and price is grinding back up. Screen reads about $1,219, down 1.85% on 24 hours and roughly $6 above the three o'clock print. Volume near $1.15B, up 16%, with the day range still $1,131 to $1,245. $ZEC #Zcash Not financial advice.

Why is $ZEC still soft this afternoon? CMC AI points to a break under the 7 and 30 day averages that cleared about $24M of longs, plus soft altcoins and old AI cryptography chatter. RSI near 33. Desk watches $1,185 and $1,250, CPI tomorrow. #Zcash Not financial advice.

Three o'clock desk check. Screen shows about $1,213, down roughly 1.8% on 24 hours but about $12 above the $1,201 print from twenty past two. Volume near $1.16B, up about 17%, with the day range $1,131 to $1,245. $ZEC #Zcash Not financial advice.
