Another huge aspect of this decision that is not being covered in media coverage--conduct that is protected (i.e. cannot be prosecuted) also can't be used as evidence to prove charges stemming from conduct that is unprotected. Totally hamstrings the prosecution. This is huge.
To be clear, the *biggest judicial power grab since 1803* is the "more important" story than the limited victory handed to white domestic terrorists. It's gonna be hard to get people to understand why but, if you're in the press, you have to at least try.

This is extremely misleading, or really just incorrect. All states with near-total abortion bans outlaw both surgical abortions and abortion pills. Wyoming is just the first state to have a specific ban for abortion pills.
