@CJVogel_OTF Both can be true. Sark has that persona to tell him to run the play & not think twice. Ewers had more pre-snap privileges, but it was towards protection (ie 4th down TD to Golden against Arizona St.) Arch’s pre-snap isn’t very thorough. My finger pointing is more towards K Flood

@InsideTexas The Muschamp hire was intended to free up Sark on offense. Why is it when Arch comes off the field, he’s always sitting alone? Why isn’t Sark ever talking to Arch on the sidelines?

@SportsSturm I feel like we are living out the worst part of what Saleh is saying here. #6 is not playing football here and is trying to fulfill a role he doesn’t fully understand.

Hands down one of the best exchanges between reporters and an NFL head coach I’ve ever seen, featuring Titans HC Robert Saleh and the local media. What started as a simple question about the complexities of Saleh’s zone defense and why there might be some early growing pains

@tbhorka Honest question, is it just me or is Arch not able to escape as much he did last season?

@tbhorka @InsideTexas I think one of the biggest issues we have is our run blocking at the WR level. I saw way too many DBs shed the block against our WRs and stop the run. One of the great things former WR Coach, Brennan Marion did well.

@LoewyLawFirm I think Flood, has been an issue over the past couple seasons.

@CJVogel_OTF Has Arch lost some speed? It seems his legs can’t get him out of a jam this year.

@InsideTexas As an Arch supporter, I don’t like this answer. If 16 is supposed to be the star of the offense, he wants the ball in his hands and carry the team. Either he’s “Him” or he’s not. It sounds like Sark thinks the latter. #Hookem

@SportsSturm I don’t understand the philosophy here. Some coaches will play a cover 0 or some type of zone blitz to put pressure on a undrafted rookie, and ours decides to play a deep cover zone 10 yards off the ball with no pressure. Make it make sense Bob, what’s the goal here?

@1053SS Our coaching problem isn’t just with game management or CP, it’s 2-3 levels deep. Our problem is systemic and it’s about to turn septic. We are being out coached every week. We can’t set the edge and our DL can’t get any penetrations.
