Newly updated WAB after rivalry weekend. More on BYU's plight, and Duke enters the fray: open.substack.com/pub/lreceiver/…

Wrote up something on substack, taking liberties to apply @totally_t_bomb's Wins Above Bubble to the college football playoff race to try to get a quantifiable look at each team's resume. Oklahoma got a big win yesterday: substack.com/profile/998462…

Updated WAB for Week 14 linked below. BYU has a bone to pick with Notre Dame and the CFP committee, but the most likely playoff paths have gotten pretty clear: open.substack.com/pub/lreceiver/…

Using a “wins above bubble” style metric taken from basketball, Vanderbilt rates out slightly better than the polls, but still not quite in an at-large position behind BYU, Notre Dame and Oklahoma

This analysis traces back to Bart for the WAB framework (and the awesome overall CBB site), @ESPN_BillC's SP+, ESPN's FPI, and @TeamRankings's power ratings, and @CFB_Data for the easily used data

@dadgumboxscores Nothing clean (might get around to a write-up tomorrow), but do have this heading into the evening slate. UT-UGA looms large (Red lines = Current and expected at-large cutlines)

Bengals CB Cam Taylor-Britt broke down Commanders rookie QB Jayden Daniels’ game: “They don’t make him do a lot. They keep it really simple for him. Nice college offense. (Kliff) Kingsbury’s the OC.”
