@YewneekPhoto @cycloxoxford Not really true, is it. She was killed as a result of unfit infrastructure so I believe it is very much relevant to the efforts to make roads safer for all. Same goes for the many other road deaths in Oxford in recent years.

@_ben_p @EdHalford1 @OxfordshireCC Seen today's article? Driver arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and driving while unfit through drink or drugs after a cyclist is killed. The professional journalists at this paper wrote: "His bike collided with a silver Vauxhall Astra".

Jack Hart, who had already been fined six times for driving offences, killed Steven Duffield and Mason Deakin when driving at 57mph in 30mph zone. Their parents will never see them again. Is this the kind of "completely minor" speeding offence you're thinking of, Jon?
