Fully agree, and same applies to creatives (and has applied for decades); when you’re a company w/ ideas and ambition and can unlock more ingenuity per person, you hire even more people. Mundane repetitive work gets replaced with higher-order work, and MORE becomes possible.

The problem is not the 2A, but rather GOP activist judges rewriting 2A at the behest of the gun industry. In Heller (2008), by a single vote, the Court discarded two centuries of 2A jurisprudence. The Constitution is not a suicide pact and the GOP reading of 2A is absurd.

I’ve been thinking about this point a lot lately. If you read about the Vietnam war, you’ll notice the public opinion shifted to being against the war when journalists started showing real videos and photos of what was happening there on television.

Vercel’s absorption of React as the spiritual and effectual lead of the project continues. Every day it seems that “using React” will become “using Next.js”. Andrew’s previous post on this topic sure makes that seem so! Weird times for the React community for sure
