perhaps the ultimate superpower for leading a project or company at scale: having a compass for what REALLY matters (amidst a cacophony of industry noise, FOMO, sunk costs, temptations to satisfy people at expense of strategy) and allocating resources and minutes accordingly.

observed: the VCs I respect spend most of their time helping their companies that are struggling (or in specific areas of opportunity). while less strong investors try to make the most change and incessantly “help” the thriving companies and founders that need it the least. 🤷♂️
