Hey listen to Egg by Riggings (@OhGoodItsAlex). Better yet buy yourself a copy, also go on their Bandcamp and buy a copy of Themselves and Bile and Bone and Big Electric Fan. Great records. Best accessory (quality chipp clipp). They’re all good. Themselves is a masterpiece.

Jonas, Primoz, & Sepp Those three coming across the line together was so sweet. Best thing in sports all year. They seem so happy and sincere when they congratulate and help one another.

Probably my most notable accomplishment in my life is that I’ve never let my fingernails or toenails get even close to long enough that someone would suggest that I need to trim them. I do wish they grew a little faster, but only so I could trim them more frequently.

This is just great. I want to sing along with people too. And listen to and read things that were made and recommended by people. And sometimes I wonder how I’ll be able to continue to be intentional about that, given all this.

It’s been a week and I’m pretty confident that Blue Rev is perfect. And ILYSM coming now? Pretty sure I got into @WildPinkNYC and @alvvaysband at about the same time years ago and now they’re releasing perfect records a week apart and it’s about as much a guy can handle.

Based on these last performances I think the USMNT’s best move to save face is to boycott the Qatar World Cup in protest of FIFA corruption and the host’s human rights record but also because they’re just gonna lose probably. Truly #suboptimal.

Sad about the more detailed complications on the Simple watch face in watchOS 9. I liked the Simple face for a reason, @Apple. I just want the current temp in one corner, activity rings in another & wind in a third, but now there’s a buncha other numbers and whatnot going on

Turns out @midnightoilband released a new album earlier this year. I had no idea. It’s at least as didactic as you’d expect from the guys that made, like, Truganini and whatnot. Also it’s even more awesome than it really has any need to be.

What about the teen girl who got sent away to a different school for getting pregnant? Or the gay kid kicked out of his home? They didn’t hurt anyone, and they got “canceled.” A straight boy faces consequences for actually hurting a person, and this? C’mon. Do better!

The new @JoyceManor album absolutely slays. I have to drive somewhere tomorrow, and it’s gonna be a 4 “40 Oz to Fresno” drive so I’m looking forward to it. Then I get to do it again on the drive home. Anyway the cover of “Souvenir” at the beginning is just the perfect thing.
