Bittersweet leaving the CVICU on my last day today :’) Following patients as they progressed from critically ill on ECMO and/or coding one day, to week(s) later when they’re extubated, eating dinner in the chair w/ family bedside. What a special feeling 🥹 We really are so lucky.
