I try not to be too judge mental (and I fail) but I've found in my 30 years on earth that people that have a huge problem with swearing are usually weirdos

Nice kids are great, but people need to remember "bad" kids need the most kindness even if they aren't yours. There was a boy that was just awful, breaking into my garage & destroying things. The other kids hated him. One day, I saw him watching my kids & I drawing outside. 1/9

When I was in high school, my friend Shannon who had diabetes was low on sugar. She started to say very strange things at first. Before we could get her help, she started to scream and rammed herself against a bunch of tables and chairs. Then she proceeded to pass out.

As a nurse, I know firsthand the harms of the excessively high cost of insulin. No one should have to ration insulin in our country. That’s why @BernieSanders and I just introduced the Insulin for All Act. Let’s cap the price of insulin at no more than $20 per vial.

I honestly think it would take a person with active DKA talking to congress to allow them to even sort of grasp the severity of diabetes and the need for free insulin
