@TheKouk No, Australia should look at removing profit transfer, it would be the biggest tax win. Screwing Australians with a tax increase is short sighted. Demanding that American companies pay tax on 100% of income made in Australia would actually help the country.

@MikeCarlton01 Look you can either decide to kill them all or bring them home. Leaving them to die slowly in Syria is the same as choosing to kill them. They are probably radicalised. They are probably more radicalised due to the delay in bringing them home. Be humane, bring them home

@CraigWtweets Let’s be fair, Australians are being stollen from through scams all the time and despite Optus making it much worse the advice from the government remains, don’t click bad links and if your id is stolen please advise us for statistical purposes. We are not a decent society

@ClareONeilMP can you have the passport office and Medicare inform us every time identity is checked. That can stop fraud in real-time. Empower people to know when their identity is being abused and before damage is done.

This afternoon @albomp gave the parliament an important update on the Optus security breach. Not only are we demanding Optus pay for replacement passports for those affected by the breach, but we're also committed to strengthening our privacy laws through the Privacy Act review.

@domknight @Optus We need a way for individuals to know their identity is being checked. We also need to accept that knowing some numbers is not identity verification. Photo id is meant to be used with the photo. Identity verification is broken.

So the Hey Mum/Hey Dad scams have moved on to be Hey Child. ⁦@VodafoneAU⁩ ⁦@Telstra⁩ ⁦@Optus⁩ you need to do better. You control the networks, messages shouldn’t be sent from fake names pretending to be family members. ⁦@smh⁩ ⁦@guardiannews⁩
