There’s no word for privacy in Italian. The environment doesn’t really allow for it. Reason why pickpockets are able to exist. You get close to others. Have to learn to live with live. Everyday, you get to witness the full human experience.

Apertivo hour is a testament to Italian’s love of leisure & conversation. They partake in spritzes served with free finger foods from 4 to 9pm, all while chain smoking cigarettes al fresco. Sure beats happy hour $1 off beer specials after a long day in Corporate America.
