@boneGPT @jay__1066 I'm an accountant. (Big firm, high up). Been thinking about this a lot. Should DM
@realDrTT @Darb_Seyah777 You might find this video, put out by one of our 12 Apostes very recently, interesting. Also be quotes the Vatican on at least one occasion, and shows great Reverence to other faiths: share.google/8lT5eLXYIPNuCb…
@orsonscottcard Taught a seminary lesson this week on AI, including BYU Speeches from those inspired on the topic. Thought a lot about Ender's friend Jane (I've read the Ender series multiple times), and was hoping you'd written your thoughts on LLMs somewhere. Have you?
Kirk Herbstreit says BYU will be penalized with a loss in the Big12 championship No less than 2 minutes later, Herbstreit and Saban both agree that Alabama cannot be penalized for a loss in the SEC championship. This whole thing is a total sham. Always has been.
Replay shows Texas Tech receiver clearly ran out of bounds early in the route. The official threw his hat to signify he saw it. So why is the play allowed to stand? #BYUFOOTBALL
I just saw this too... Illegal touching (?) & a non-OPI later in the play...bad look for the Big 12 officials there
Replay shows Texas Tech receiver clearly ran out of bounds early in the route. The official threw his hat to signify he saw it. So why is the play allowed to stand? #BYUFOOTBALL
ESPN is showing the TD pass on replay in the press box and not the receiver pushing off.
Coy Eakin got away with a push off on Evan Johnson there. SHould be a TD as a result for Texas Tech
We saw all those replays of the clear touchdown but didn't see one to see the extremely clear 2 handed shove by the TT WR? Should have been Offensive Pass Interference and it wasn't debatable.
Can you show an effing replay of the clear push off? Good golly can’t hide the bias. #GoCougs
That push off was sooo bad!
The thing that ultimately gets me is this: There have been 61 power teams to go 11-1 in the CFP era. Every other one has finished top 10 after the regular season. All but two were top 7. What is the argument for BYU being uniquely unimpressive among that group? There isn't one.
Why BYU should make the College Football Playoff cbssports.com/college-footba…
Read ‘em and weep. #Big12FB | @BYUfootball
BYU played maybe the toughest 6 game stretch you can conjure up in the Big 12 and went 5-1. @ 9-3 #20 Arizona - Win Vs 10-2 #13 Utah - Win @ 7-4 Iowa St - Win @ 11-1 #5 Texas Tech - loss Vs 7-4 TCU - Win @ 7-4 Cincy - Win How this team isn’t a lock for the playoff is a mystery
Me: BYU deserves to be in the Playoff! Everyone: Try beating someone first! Me: BYU has six wins over 7+ win teams. That leads the nation. They also have wins over two currently ranked teams. Everyone: Well that’s because it’s the Big 12, they all stink. Me: Really? Because the Big 12 had a winning record in non-conference games against P4 competition. They also have five ranked teams, including 4 in the Top 20. Everyone: That doesn’t prove anything! Look at their SOS or SOR. Me: That’s fine. BYU is 6th is SOR, ahead of every two loss team. They also have a higher SOS than Ole Miss, Notre Dame, and Miami. Everyone: Okay well they got blown out by three scores to Texas Tech! Me: Your right, that was a tough loss. A lot like Oklahoma losing a neutral site game by 3 scores, Oregon losing at Home by 2 scores, or Alabama losing by two scores to a 5-6 Florida State. Everyone: 😑 😡 😤 …. Well in a hypothetical game, BYU would lose so case closed.
If the CFP committee is giving OU & TTU some leeway for their losses due to injury to key players, surely they’re doing the same for BYU not having a fully healthy 3rd best RB in all of FBS, LJ Martin, in the Cougs sole loss, right? Right?
Our @PFSNcollege highest-graded FBS RBs, 2025: Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame: 93.4 Emmett Johnson, Nebraska: 93.3 LJ Martin, BYU: 91.4 Kewan Lacy, Ole Miss: 90.0 Jeremiah Cobb, Auburn: 88.3 Ahmad Hardy, Missouri: 88.2 Jadan Baugh, Florida: 88.2 Caleb Hawkins, North Texas: 88.1 Mike
Looking back at wk 14 CFP rankings over the last DECADE, two points stood out: 1) No 1-loss P4/5 team has ever been ranked as low as BYU currently is at 11th 2) A grand cumulative total of FIVE 2-loss teams have ever been ranked above any 1-loss P4/5 team in that span, & 3 of those 5 are this year’s ND, OU, & Bama (COVID yr excluded) Reminder that currently, the average of 89 independent computer ranking systems have BYU at #8, behind only one 1-loss team… yet a single CFP committee and their “human element” has found a way to push the Cougs back down BYU should be safely in the field regardless of the results of the Big12 CCG… no other 1-loss P4 team is being told they better win their CCG to get into a 12-team field… and SMU was essentially guaranteed by the committee that they were safe at 11-1 regardless of the ACC CCG results last year. But now that BYU is in that slot, they’re changing the rules. I wonder why…
Proposal to refer to the BYU defensive ends as “Demon Hunters” since they’re coached by K-Pop
