Ross of @accursedfarms explains how the EU Kids Act is cover for making private servers without age verification illegal, and doing the exact opposite of protecting kids in order to establish a surveillance state. Here's how to fight back: -Sign and spread the #StopKillingInternet Initiative if you're an EU citizen of voting age (friends and family count too!): eci.ec.europa.eu/066/public/ - Leave a public comment about the EU Kids Act Be polite and civil. This isn't Twitter or social media, but a direct public comment to the Commission. They're under no obligation to take people seriously if people misbehave or get out of hand. Write like you'll have to give your comment in person to your town hall or local government: ec.europa.eu/info/law/bette… - Read up on the EU Kids Act: eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/… - The leaked proposal of the Kids Act: drive.proton.me/urls/7FGQYQ01Y… - Contact your Member of European Parliament about your opposition to the Kids Act, and why they should also be opposed to it: europarl.europa.eu/meps/en/home - Spread the word and this video far and wide! Let the public know what is happening!

Remember when we warned you all a year ago when the Online Safety act in the UK came into force and everyone was saying it would be only for adult content. We warned you these types of laws would be going after games, streaming, chat services, search engines, app stores, AI services, forums, media services, social media, adult content, etc. They are coming for the entire internet gloabally. I wish people could properly correlate how the UNs agenda 2030 and the dozens of countries pushing these laws in alignment with it are part of the same exact plan to surveillance, censor and control everyone for "safety" and "sustainability".

Good morning, Europe! Following the reveal of the potentially devastating EU Kids Act, we'd like to remind you that a 1st step to combat the excessive attack on privacy and freedom is signing the political instrument of an ECI: citizens-initiative.europa.eu/initiatives/de… #StopKillingTheInternet

The EU is set to nearly completely destroy both the history and current era of video games, in the name of "child safety" - Private servers are illegal - Nearly every video game in the last 20-30 years with an online component will be liable youtu.be/mQRcK9nYg9g?si…

sign the petition even if you think it won't work being pessimistic helps no one! eci.ec.europa.eu/066/public/

We just can't catch a break, can we? The EU Kids Act is nightmare fuel, if you look beneath the honorable surface claim of "protecting kids online". The breakdown: youtube.com/watch?v=mQRcK9… #StopKillingGames #StopKillingTheInternet

You know what, make noise about it, people! Retweet and quote all the news about it, but not in despair, in fighting! If Wild Bunch still has the IP someone else could pick it up and pull a Physint with it. WE WANT THIS GAME, GODAMNIT!

Armed Fantasia, the spiritual successor to Wild Arms looked like a very promising new JRPG. The Kickstarter was a success too so it’s a big shame the project is being cancelled.

I'M MAKING A GAME I ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY

This is so well said. 😂 Maybe Sony doesn't realize that: 1. Most of us have a backlog bigger than our life expectancy 2. The jump from PS5 to PS6 is going to feel a lot smaller than previous generations (law of diminishing returns at this point) 3. If they want us to stay engaged, maybe... I don't know... give us games? Good games that don't take 7+ years to make. And maybe bring back some of the creativity and variety that made the PS1–PS3 eras so special. Sony needs us more than we need them. They created so much value over the last 30 years that plenty of us have enough incredible games to play for decades. If the future is "$1,000+ digital-only console, fewer games, longer waits, and less ownership," that's not exactly a compelling value proposition. GG, Sony. Thanks for the memories. 🤣

That is a bold strategy! Waiting for the storm to pass! I will not be supporting a PS6. I have 26 diferent consoles and over 2000 physical games. I'm 47, I have enough games until I die! I hope the community continues making the storm! PlayStation needs us, but we don't need them
