It’s important to understand just how inaccurate it is to represent the student protests as chaos. In reality, like most protests most of the time, they seem to be quite well coordinated w/ thoughtful spatial organization, a div of labor, and rules. Police often create the chaos.

So, EOIR has published this new handout for people who show up to immigration court for their hearing only to find out that the DHS never filed their charging document. And the kicker? DHS can keep sending you new NTAs and you have to keep showing up. justice.gov/eoir/media/134…
