You can grow tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets. Just safely (very safely) punch drainage holes in the bottom and fill with potting soil. Even large tomato plants will be ok. There’s no need to buy expensive pots.

If you’re short on time you can complete a body weight circuit at home or go for a 30 minute jog (or walk) in less time than it takes to drive to the gym and back. Remove barriers to success.

I fully support and believe in organic and regenerative farming practices but if we are going to change the broken food production model we have to support the family growing tomatoes on their balcony in containers.

Many folks seem to confuse hybrid vegetable seeds with GMO seeds. I grow many hybrid vegetable varieties but wouldn’t use GMO. One of my favorite hybrids is “Sungold”. It’s a cherry tomato from @BurpeeGardening Hybrid seeds are just cross pollinated. Like a labradoodle.

I went to the beach Sunday. I saw this Egret but it was skittish and kept its distance. I usually see an Egret that walks right up to folks. I haven’t seen it in a few trips. Nature can be harsh.

I ordered from Johnnys seeds for the first time this year. Good customer service. Wide range of varieties but they are expensive. Decent germination so far. I’d order from them again. I also ordered from Burpee and Baker Creek as usual.

Fitness should involve setting a goal and reaching it. “Getting in shape” isn’t a goal. Instead, focus on completing a 5k or even walking a mile depending on your level of fitness. You’ll “get in shape” as you progress towards the goal. Then set a new one.

One issue with the outdoors/natural lifestyle is finding like minded folks. There are very few people interested in talking about new tomato and pepper varieties.
