I don’t see how that’s not still a foul. It’s the lightest of touches on the ball by the last line of defence, and Gyokeres is still likely to run onto the ball if he isn’t tripped. #bbcfootball

The first one is not a penalty, and King is rightly booked. I don’t know how the second one isn’t - the ball is past Cash save for his arm, which clearly blocks a goal bound shot and is away from his body. Why wouldn’t that be given? #bbcfootball

The officials do themselves no favours. Justice done with Brighton now scoring, but how can a professional referee look at that and say it’s not a high boot from Gusto? Anywhere else on the field it’s a foul. Every week we’re taking about these incidents #bbcfootball

They don’t let people reply because anyone with eyes can see through the nonsense spin. These referees are paid to do this job and they can’t get it right on the field or with the benefit of replay, and then the official twitter account lies to protect them. Shambles.

Onana has history of staying on his line instead of closing down the angles of the attacker. It’s just one of the ways in which he is a sub standard keeper at the top level. There are school age keepers all over the world who would have done better than he did here.

I get what Scott Parker is saying, but also if you take away VAR then his team wrongly concedes a penalty 15 mins in. I’ve got plenty of issues with VAR but today, both penalty decisions were fair. Walker didn’t foul Mount, Anthony tried to swap shirts with Amad #bbcfootball

Congrats to Grimsby, but it should never have reached penalties. United dominant in all the stats -as they should be- but that doesn’t tell the story that for an hour they rarely threatened. And were once again let down by horrendous goalkeeping for both goals #bbcfootball

United, and Amorim, could overhaul the team in every other department but it won’t mean anything if they continue to start goalkeepers who gift opponents goals on a regular basis. They have to get a new keeper before the window closes #bbcfootball
