@G1ZA There was also a great throw out to the right wing ... shortly after the Sodje assist. It carried a Latics's player with the perfect weight to be controlled knee/shin high .... if i remember correctly.

@tommymarlow I thought it was strange neither of you mentioned it. To be fair though, ball in keeper's hands would likely be the time to take a quick look!

@tommymarlow Hardly a spot of rain in the 3 weeks we were in Europe. Looks like we picked a good time to visit. Great ball by Skura but as a lifelong member of the GK union then Jed Ward hasn't had a mention for his vision and driven ball to Sodje for the opener!

@tommymarlow @MattDVale @AliMaxwell_ I can't take the credit for that. Another international Saddler, Paul, @ItsStillAyoba , was on the ball there.

@tommymarlow @bbcwm A fairly lively 0-0. Rochdale appear happy to sit deep but can we get the ball in early to Sodje for him to take Flint on with his pace.

@tommymarlow @sam_hadwen @bbcwm Evening Tom & Sam. First game of the season for me. 7am arrival for 8.20am Sunday morning kick-offs for my daughter aren't overly conducive for midnight viewing! Season over, we'll be at Bescot for the Vale game.

@tommymarlow @bbcwm Echoing Paul & Jason's comments. Many thanks for orchestrating the ex-pats. Late autumn here looking like your sunny weather - a spot too much sun watching games yesterday. At least Newcastle Jets have won the league & could face a Steve Corica & Danny Hay led Auckland in the GF

@tommymarlow @bbcwm Regardless of the result, this has been a better watch under DB. (Glad you remembered the offside in your own half 🤣)

@gbennett1997 @tommymarlow Listening in the car this morning. Keeping dry during torrential rain whilst my daughter is at training! Sounds like 1 goal could settle this

@tommymarlow The 4-1 was my last visit to C'field. We went behind & scored 3 in the 2nd half. More of the same please. Aging footballers; in the Chesterfield team that day was Jay O'Shea. Saw him for Brisbane Roar yesterday as they were soundly beaten 4-1 by the table-topping Newcastle Jets

@tommymarlow @DazHaleWM @Heslop96 Season's greetings x2 from Redhead.... my dad is over here for Christmas. Forecast 40 degrees for Sunday! Agree with Tom H. Happy with a point. Can we smash and grab 3?

@tommymarlow @bbcwm @DazHaleWM Pressley was watching the ball out on the wing as he ran in to the box and straight in to the back/shoulder of the centre back. You're right Tom, 10.30pm ko here, no morning bagels, more like a beer and packet of salt & vinegar!

@tommymarlow Shipley had to go even though Speedie wasn't too fast with the cards! Thought Clarke handled (caught) the ball as he went down under the challenge in the 1st half forcing the ref to make a decision. Time for Lakin I think Best wishes to Mason in his recovery/road to return

@tommymarlow @bbcwm A 4hr trip north for me today ... a few days at Crescent Head on holiday 🌞 Hoping we can nick an away win as we did on my only trip to Accrington in 2006 ... it was a promotion winning season!!

@tommymarlow @bbcwm Checking in from Redhead. Jake will likely know David Zdrilic, another ex Saddler from the same era as Steve Corica. DZ is currently the coach at Perth Glory but was at Sydney prior to that. Maybe after Jake had moved to Macarthur but would have coached his brothers.
