LLMs are essentially sophisticated automated con-artists with access to a lot of training information. Their only trick is to tell you what they “think” you want to hear, and they will do whatever it takes to keep up the illusion that they’re actually intelligent. 🤓

if you organise your life in such a way that you get lots of long, consecutive uninterrupted time chunks you can do meaningful work. If instead you get interrupted a lot, meaningful work gets replaced by a bunch of e-mail messages sent out to individuals which no one cares about.

Earlier: Censorship worked by withholding information. Now: Censorship now works by distracting people, with too much information. Attention is the most scarce resource of all. With time, it's becoming more and more difficult to block the noise and separate truth form fiction.
