Madani and kLIA A note from a friend who has been doing business in the country for many years: “ I travelled frequently, and KLIA has gone from bad to worse. It isn’t easy to get Grab during Ramadan, so I had to rely on taxis. The waiting was always long. Even Premium taxis are dirty and hardly roadworthy In my last one, the driver was driving like an angry man. He was driving dangerously close. I could not speak to him for fear of retaliation. I could not see his name or driver's identification. I am a foreigner, and I don’t like to complain, but KLIA is not a destination I want to go to. But I had invested a lot in this country.” This Madani govt talks a lot about big changes. They need your dynamic data when they already have every basic data about the people of this country. They want to regulate social media platforms. Madani wants to control, not help, the people Why not start by making changes to how we operate taxi services? How we operate efficient bus services is a good start too. Why not provide all the bus stand times of arrival of these buses. Is that too difficult? This govt talks about reforms. Reforms of big things can only happen when small things are done correctly. Even small things are not done properly :

Jadi orang kampung fikir punya fikir, deme pun pasanglah pelita dekat semua rumah dan sepanjang jalan ke masjid. Maka terang benderanglah satu kampung tu. Bukan setakat tu, terus nampak meriah menjelang hari raya.

We’re one week away. Here are 5 lists to make heading into Ramadan inshaAllah. 1) A To-Not-Do List 2) A To-Do List 3) A To-Fix List 4) A Quantity List 5) A Quality List #ramadan2024

Getting old and growing tired Part 1/4

I’ve been asked multiple times if I’m doing a Ramadan series this year. I started writing this series last Ramadan and was planning to record it back in October. With the ongoing genocide in Gaza, it was exceedingly hard but finally got it done al hamdulilah. And Allah decreed that the series is definitely related to the many questions people have been asking these days. Inshā’Allāh this years series, as well as Quran 30 for 30, will be special. Stay tuned for the Ramadan series trailer TOMORROW Inshā’Allāh.

Salah satu perkara yang saya belajar sejak jadi guru pendidikan khas ialah mudahkan proses pembelajaran anak. Sebab kita nak tengok sekecil-kecil progress anak. Ini kita panggil sebagai “break down technique” Contohnya nak ajar kenal huruf. Kita tak ajar kenal terus a-z tapi—

Ini jawapannya Usaha. Effort.

Good news: Mkini tested the water samples and found low concentrations of heavy metals such as iron, copper, nickel, and aluminium. Pahang DOE in 2016 to 2020 found high concentrations of heavy metals such as iron & manganese. @HarizMohdWrites reports malaysiakini.com/news/677512

As a Brit living in Malaysia, I find your behaviour absolutely disgraceful. Please go home and never come back. The only "bunch of **************" are you guys. I really hope you find it in your hearts to apologise to all those you offended and those who have sadly now had their festival cancelled. To all Malaysian's please do not judge the rest of us Brits based on this bunch of drunk, moronic, idiots. We love your country and respect your laws. I really hope this pathetic incident does not have a long term impact on other artists wishing to visit this beautiful country and perform.

I like Twitter more, however, let's see if Thread can change my mind.

Malaysia will experience a prolonged hot and dry weather spell from the end of this year until early next year due to El Niño, says the NRECC. The ministry says the phenomenon can also cause transboundary haze if the burning of forests and peatlands is not controlled.

1. El Niño conditions have developed in the tropical Pacific for the first time in 7 years. The World Meteorological Organization expects the onset of El Niño to "greatly increase the likelihood of breaking temperature records" and "extreme heat globally and in the ocean".
